Hello and welcome to my website! My name is Armando Martinez and I am the founder of El Tizon Latino Grill. Let me share a little bit about my journey with you.
I was born in a town called Barinas in Venezuela and was raised in the bustling cities of Caracas and Valencia. While I did pursue a university degree, my heart has always been in entrepreneurship. Over the years, I have had the opportunity to lead various projects in Venezuela, gaining a wealth of knowledge and experiences along the way.
The Story of Our Beginning
It was through these projects that I found myself migrating to the United States, where the idea for El Tizon Latino Grill was born. At El Tizon Latino Grill, we embrace the artisan way of cooking, where the main ingredient is love. I have honed my skills and passion for cooking by traveling to different parts of the world, and learning about unique flavors and techniques that I incorporate into our menu.
My main goal with El Tizon Latino Grill is to offer our customers a taste of the artisan flavors of Venezuela. The ultimate satisfaction for me comes from seeing the joy and satisfaction expressed by our clients as they enjoy our dishes. Every morsel was so tasty and perfect each time. I have the beef (Picaña) bowl each time with perfectly soft beef, tasty yuca and pico de gallo. I also tried for the very first time their festive plate - Pan De Jamón, wow!!! Out of this world, I wish they had this year round. I’ve been there several times and without fail - delicious! It’s my go to for Latin food. I highly recommend it I’ll see you there!
